Valentine Wolfe to Start on New Album

Valentine Wolfe announced today that they have started work on their next album! The tentative title for their latest work is Death and the Maiden.

Here’s a little bit more about their new project straight from them:
We’ll be exploring themes of death and dying and how we process that as a modern culture. We’ll also be working in some Victorian ideas about death because they did things really creepy back then!

Valentine Wolfe has also reported that they will be sharing some behind-the-scenes looks with their fans about recording, composing, and different aspects (such as the long and exacting search for that perfect bass tone) that listeners may find interesting. They will be posting those videos on their YouTube channel so be sure to subscribe!

Here’s their first behind-the-scenes glimpse!

Formed in 2006, Valentine Wolfe is the combined effort of the Lady Sarah Black and Braxton Ballew.  They are longtime friends of the Charlotte Geeks and amazing supporters of our annual Geek Gala, where they were our Musical Guests of Honor in 2015. To visit Valentine Wolfe’s website, click here.
